Our Association
The Hungarian Dietetic Association (HDA, called MDOSZ in Hungarian
language), was established in 1991. It is the professional
organization of dietitians. Since 1998 it has been operating as a
public benefit organization.

Who can be a
dietitian in Hungary?
A dietitian is an officially admitted health care professional
person in nutrition sciences and dietetics, with college degree, who
applies the knowledge of nutrition sciences for education and
nourishing of both healthy and ill people.
Our members
The association has more than 1000 registered dietitian members, who
work:
- in hospitals and in catering,
- in social institutions,
- in research institutes as scientific supports,
- in food industries,
- as sport nutritionist,
- as entrepreneur,
- as students or as their lecturers or
- other health professionals.
